While We Were Out Blog Train.

What a crazy month we have had so far at SDD. Most of you are aware of all of the issues we have had with our host this month. Well unfortunately, my blog is also with that same host. The good news is, both Scrappity-Doo-Dah and my blog will soon be transferring my blog to a new host. I’m just hopeful the transition goes smoothly for everyone with very little downtime.

Please be patient with us during this transition.

While we were away… the Scrappity-Doo-Dah designers and team members were cooking up something special for you!

The whole team at SDD appreciates all our customers, and our whole team want to thank you for your continued patience – both in the time that we were down and our migration over to a new, more (ahem) reliable host. We hope that this blog hop will make up for it!

More than 15 of the designers and some of the CT, Love Birds, and Moderators of SDD have come together to bring you this huge kit – While We Were Away. We know you missed us while we were away and we missed you too!

I made each of us 2. I am so spoiled, Look what Chris (hutchie) did for me. She updated the look of my blog. I love this Hello Birdie Kit Collab kit by Danielle Corbitt and Digi Overdose. Doesn't it look great! Good News

My mother had her surgery last Friday, and it looks like it is going to be a success. She looks good, and says she feels a lot better. Hopefully things will get back to normal soon.

I hope everyone had a great weekend. I had a wonderful weekend, I spent it with my baby sister, in Orlando. We drove back and forth from Orlando to Tampa to visit my mom every day but Sunday. Then after we visited her yesterday then we drove back home.

A few hours to scrap

Today is the big day, where my mom goes to Dr. Goldin. Hopefully he will tell her when he would like to schedule the surgery. We are hoping since she has done such a good job at home medically that they will schedule it soon. She had a bad night, and was up most of the night throwing up. I think it was her nerves getting the best of her.

So I will be scrappin today, to show off a few more of my family photos.

Long Weekend

I hope everyone had a great weekend. Mine seemed extra long this weekend for some reason. It probably was because my mom went a little backwards this weekend, starting Friday night. I have a new respect for nurse's, I tell you, I could not imagine doing this everyday for work. I am exhausted.

My daughter had her friend Nico spend the night last night, and then went to the mall today. So it has been quiet all day. My son spent the night with my mother in law last night as he does every Saturday night, and my step daughter went to her mom's this weekend. So I got caught up with some much needed sleep and took a nap today. Yeah!

I want to get some baking done, but I can not do any with my mom feeling so sick, the smell makes her even more nautious. I love to bake for the holidays, and well I have not been able to do any, yet! I am going through withdrawals.

OH! On another note, one thing that I did this weekend, is help my friend and one of my designers I ct for get her new store up.. You can check it out here -

What a day!

Today, it started out to be stressful, but I ended up having a good day. I finally talked to my mom's doctor's assistant today, and finally updated them on how well she is doing. She has an appointment with Dr. Goldin on December 12, 2007 @ 10:00. Hopefully they will consider her well enough to have the surgery soon after. I am crossing my fingers.

My Christmas wish for this year, is that my mom will of had her surgery and is home with us to celebrate Christmas. Thanksgiving was very hard with out her. To be honest, I do not want to do that again. We all missed each other so much, it just was not the same.

Today, I hope to get some of the challenges done at Digital Candy. I am anxious to do the da bomb challenge, which Mojo hosts. You have to scrap your favorite toy. So I went on Google and found them.

Wow, it has been a long time

It has been a long time since I have updated this blog... I spent all day today updating it today. So much has happened since I last blogged. I am now an administrator at Digital Candy. I love it at Digital Candy, I feel so at home there.
The designers are so awesome and friendly, and of course the owner is so Wonderful.

Well my mom has been at home for a week, and is doing a lot better. I have had 3 nights of good sleep, thanks to my husband Jon. He has been letting me sleep in.

I still have to finish decorating our house, I have been doing a little every day. I love this time of the year, but this year I just can not get into the season like I normally do. I have updated my slide shows below with the new ct work that I have done.

Creative teams

I had to step down off of a couple of creative teams. I am so sad about, but with my mom sick, and trying to do to much (Which is my middle name) A couple of my designers let me just go idle for a bit. I am so used to doing so much more scrapping than I have been doing lately. I guess I am just tooo addicted to this hobby. Thank you to all of my designers that believe in me, and are willing to work with me.

Digi scrapping has been keeping me sain when things get to hectic..LOL

Digital Candy

Well I have good news and bad news, today.

I was promoted to Moderator at Digital Candy. I am very excited, because I post a lot there anyway. I just get fringe benefits now... LOL

Well my mom is not doing any better. Hopefully tomorrow we will find out if they are going to send her to a hospital in Tampa or Miami. It has been so stressful trying to keep things as normal as possible for my children, and worrying about my mom. Now that she is going backwards, we just don't know what to do with ourselves.

New Creative Team

I am really excited, I am on 2 new creative Teams, both sell exclusively at Digital Candy. Angela Niehaus and Designs by Jasz.

I updated the slide shows below to include current layouts, that I completed.

My mother is doing a lot better, hopefully she will come home soon. My headaches are not getting any better. This week has been a killer. I am not sure if it is from all of the dental work or I am catching the flu.

Today's Accomplishments

I finally did it. I got most of the blog done... Yeah! I know that it has a lot of graphics, but I love animation. I use a lot of it in the blinkies that I make.

Well I did not get any challenges done today. It is only 9:30 right now, so maybe I can still get one done still before bedtime.

The kids started school yesterday! Boy was that nice. I was so tired of the kids whining how they were so bored. Give them a month and they are going to wish it was summer break again.
